The consultant is a Registered Nurse licensed in the State of California with 20 years of clinical nursing experience and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
Perry RN Consulting brings professional nursing expertise to the review of assessments, care plans, documentation, policies and procedures, and operational workflows.
Our consulting approach is designed to provide an independent nursing perspective while helping organizations strengthen documentation, care planning, staff understanding, and practical processes within the scope of Community Supports and Recuperative Care.
Consulting Services
CalAIM & Community Supports Consultation
Independent nursing consultation related to CalAIM, Enhanced Care Management (ECM), and Community Supports, including Recuperative Care, with services informed by applicable DHCS guidance.
Documentation & Care Plan Consultation
Independent nursing review of existing assessments, documentation, and care plans to evaluate whether the care plan appropriately reflects the client’s identified non-medical needs, goals, circumstances, and requested supports within the scope of Community Supports and Recuperative Care.
Perry RN Consulting reviews the assessment and care plan and provides non-medical suggestions and recommendations regarding ways the provider may better address the client’s identified needs, goals, barriers, and support needs through appropriate Recuperative Care services and resources.
Recommendations may include suggestions for strengthening the care plan, improving documentation, clarifying identified needs and interventions, identifying appropriate non-medical supports, and improving coordination with Enhanced Care Management or other appropriate providers when needs fall outside the scope of Recuperative Care.
Perry RN Consulting reviews and makes recommendations; the provider remains responsible for developing, approving, and implementing the client’s care plan.
